(*i2)QuickTime for Windows installs several files into the Windows system directory. Those files both play QuickTime movies and display images in Macintosh PICT format.
(*a1)If you convert an Authorware 3, 3.5, or 3.5.1 file containing audio to Authorware 4, you need to distribute the Authorware 3.x Sound Xtras with the piece.
(*a2) Shockwave Audio doesn't work on all Macintosh models. It's limited
to Power Macintosh computers.
(*v1) "XMO" files reside adjacent to your Authorware run-time (not
in an XTRAS folder).
(*v2) The QuickTime MPEG Extension extends the capabilities of QuickTime to allow Power Macintosh computers with QuickTime version 2.5 or later to play MPEG movies.
(*v3)ActiveMovie 1.0 enables Windows 95 and Windows NT 4 computers to play MPEG movies without an MPEG card.
(*s1)Special XTRAS may require additional XTRAS during authoring, which are not licensed for distribution with your application (e.g. Flash Asset Xtra requires "INETURL.X32", "NETFILE.X32", "MOAFILE.X32","ACTOR CONTROL.X32", "MUI DIALOG.X32" and "FLASH ASSET OPTIONS.X32"--the latter being non-distributable).
When you distribute an Authorware piece, create an XTRAS folder in the folder that contains either the run-time application (Runa4w or RunA4M) or the Authorware piece you're distributing (if you packaged it with the run-time). Put the XTRAS in the XTRAS folder.
